Description of the role
Restaurant Paul Bocuse, a gourmet restaurant, is looking to complete its team by hiring a new waiter.

Your role:
- Helping to set up and clear away
- Ensuring smooth service, in keeping with clients’ expectations and the restaurant’s standing
- Politely greeting and advising clients
- Serving clients according to the restaurant’s high standards
- Prioritising customer satisfaction and ensuring that clients enjoy a unique experience
- Fostering customer loyalty by recognising regular clients and understanding their habits
- Developing a thorough knowledge of the menu, cheeses and the ingredients in each dish
- Managing stress in an environment which requires speed and precision
- Working as a team and partnering with colleagues
- Sharing any information given by a satisfied or dissatisfied client with the Head Waiter or the Maître d’, preferably while the client is still in the restaurant
- Cleaning both the materials provided and the premises, following the restaurant’s rules and hygiene regulations
- Notifying supervisors of the equipment’s condition and reporting any faults and shortages
Training
- A qualification in Hotel & Catering Management with at least 1 year’s experience at a prestigious hotel or restaurant.
- A good level of English is strongly encouraged, as is knowledge of another second language, which is always appreciated in our industry.
